About Somewhere House

SOMEWHERE HOUSE LIMITED
Somewhere House has two directors, Angie & Dave Clarke. Angie is the manager at Somewhere House and is very experienced in the field of addiction. Our aim is to provide an environment that promotes respect for others and self respect, by doing this and supporting individuals in the program will give people the opportunity to develop and change.

OUR STAFF
Angie Clarke has over 19 years of experience working with addictions 15 years of this time has been working in the community mental health team and also the acute teams. Angie specialises in working with survivors of sexual abused and addictions, she has also worked alongside the local drugs team. Her qualifications extend to a post graduate in professional counselling and is also an accredited counsellor with the British Association of Counselling& Psychotherapy. Angie has also shared her knowledge in the field by training staff throughout the country for organisations including the Richmond Fellowship, Somerset Partnership, Tulip Housing, etc.

Angie has been supervising staff for many years in addiction and other fields.

Our team of well qualified and highly experienced professional counsellors and administrative staff have many years of experience in addiction work and support the organisations ethics of both respecting the clients and themselves.

Our team is made up of individuals with very diverse backgrounds and are trained to promote both independence and recognise and celebrate both diversity and difference and anti oppressive practice.

Our aim is to provide the best care in the most constructive way encouraging individualism, recognising that we don’t all come tied up in a pretty bow but yet we are still attractive and have the same rights as any other.
